I will then muse to myself that iAustralia is pretty good place to be, as I listen to the ocean lap against my apartment in the Blue Mountains.
Better remote medical services. With an ageing population we will either all have to move to cities or medical services will have to come to us.
I want respect for culture. All culture. We are becoming more and more a global village. I hope that by 2050 we have learned to respect each others cultures and differences, and our place and responsibility in a world without boundaries.
I believe that Australia should stop allowing so many people from overseas. Why should they all of a sudden come here and demand things for their religions and beliefs, such as schools and prayer rooms in certain areas of Australia. If they are not happy with they way things are run here, why live here? Being only 17, part of Australian youth i believe there needs to be a strong decrease in this to prevent Australia from being over populated and also keeping the Australian atmosphere and culture alive. Why should we change our ways for those who chose to live here when this is our country. I dont believe in putting a sudden ban to all those who which to live in Australia but those who com

Bellow are my notes for the presentation I was supposed to make @media140 in Brisbane on April 27th. Unfortunately I was fogged in at Avalon Airport and unable to attend. Brian Haratsis presented a case study on the Sustainable Population Issues Report. |
Dear Brian, I haven’t yet read your newly published ‘Australia 2050-Big Australia?’ but there’s been enough by way of comment and interviews in the media to cause me dismay, and therefore this early reply.
